Tucked on a quiet side street just west of downtown Spokane, Café Marron is the quintessential  neighborhood café. Surrounded by Brown’s Addition, one of Spokane’s oldest and grandest neighborhoods, this little gem features imaginative, culinary interpretations of the finest, hand-selected ingredients. With an eye to French cuisine, nothing is ordinary here. Toast is Rosemary Date Bread, the cheese is Gruyere, Mac & Cheese becomes Macaroni Au Gratin and the chicken is stuffed with aracine.

A favorite local breakfast spot, Café Marron is known for serving up the best gourmet breakfast in town. Start your day with classic French Toast made from bakery fresh bread, or sample a warm scone or croissant.  Of course there’s Quiche Lorraine but you will also fine a casserole of baked ham and eggs or perhaps you’d like scrambled duck eggs with spicy chorizo? Now just try and find duck eggs in most ordinary restaurants!

Lunch presents another delicious set of choices. After French Onion Soup or Roasted Beet Salad as a start, feast on a Kobe Beef Burger, Cafe Style Reuben or a Croque Monsieur of Ham and Gruyere cheese. Don’t forget to accompany it with an order of perfect Pommes Frites.

Dinner, ah moi!  Start with an appetizer of Bruschetta or Saffron Mussels, move on to a simple Caesar Salad or Nicoise Salad and get ready for the entrée of the night. A hard choice between Cilantro Lime Tuna, Seared Halibut, Cafe Steak and Potato or Pan Roasted Chicken Breast. Oh there’s allot more to choose from too! But there’s never a wrong choice. Don’t forget to save room for the perfect ending of Double Vanilla Crème Brulee or Dark Chocolate Terrine.
