Second Space Gallery is Spokane’s newest dedicated art space. 

With a growing stable of emerging and established regional artists, SSG is a great place to discover the hottest trends in Eastern Washington’s contemporary arts scene.   Focused on the most thought-provoking and important local work, this gallery is also committed to showcase a varied cross-section of artistic endeavor. 

Located in the recently renovated Plechner building, it is a slice of downtown’s art experience that is not to be missed!  The interior is not a typical white cube, rather a mixture of textures and color unusual for a gallery space, and while it is unusual, it is very inviting.  Earth tones contrast with warm hues, which in turn play off white walls and gigantic framing panels reminiscent of grade school chalk boards. 

With new exhibitions every month, there is always something new at Second Space Gallery.   You may also inquire about renting the gallery for a function or event.
