ClayFox Clay School
Pottery Classes - north Spokane at a studio in the scenic Little Spokane River Valley
The ClayFox Clay School offers pottery classes for people who want to develop basic clay throwing skills on the potters wheel, learn more advanced techniques or for people who just want to “Try-It” have fun and get muddy!
Classes are limited to 5 people in a session and held in my own professional potter’s studio. And of course there’s food too!
5 session throwing classes are offered or a "Just try it! " one session class! Hand building slab classes give you a chance to try working with clay without the use of the fast turning potters wheel!

Jill Smith & The ClayFox Pottery
About me? Well .... I grew up making mud pies. As a child I was constantly creating masterpieces in my sandbox by day and coloring "out side the lines" in my color books at night. Still "mud-minded" I studied ceramics at the University of Puget Sound, graduated and established the Clay Fox Pottery in 1972. I have happily been a studio potter with my hands in mud ever since!
