After a tiring trial, Atticus Finch, the lawyer in “To Kill A Mocking Bird” stops by his favorite coffee shop to have a cup of fresh brewed goodness. You might not catch him at the Atticus Coffee and Gift shop but you can enjoy the same cup of great coffee! This is a favorite Spokane place to sit, sip and chat.

Housed in a great old storefront, this Spokane original is the slightly less eccentric sister to Boo Radleys just down the street. Exposed brick walls and old plank floors compliment the assortment of gifts and the intoxicating aroma of coffee.

The front of the shop offers an eclectic selection of arty home décor and unusual-to-find gift items. The owners peruse the countryside to find products with a touch of sensitivity, agelessness and a sense of history to them. This is the perfect spot to find a unique gift or keepsake of your own. 

Midway into the shop the aroma of coffee beckons to the senses and not many pass without purchasing some bulk coffee beans to take home.  Several local roasters supply the bean filled case fronts with delectable blends of fresh roasted coffee beans. You’ll find 4 Seasons, Doma and Roast House blends to choose from. A large selection of bagged and lose teas are just what the tea totaler is looking for.

At the rear is the cozy cafe where you pick up the ready-to-satisfy mugs of hot fresh coffee!  Atticus offers its own made yummy sandwiches and a very sweet assortment of baked goods from Bouzies Bakery, The Rocket Bakery, and Sweetwater bakers. Rounding out the selection are some savories from Sante Restaurant & Charcuterie.
